I've had one hell of a crazy work week. Unfortunately, It's still not over.

As I'm posting this blog, I'm also editing the videos I shot for youtube. It'll get posted soon. There are a few more places that I want to catch on camera. I got up this morning feeling so grateful. My day usually starts at 6 AM. My soulmate, ( Shea - my dog...you saw her pic ) came rushing into my bedroom to wake me up. She said "mom, wake up. I need to go out." I threw on my hoodie, hooked up her harness, and out the door we went. I love our morning walks. It's quiet and peaceful. I get to have fifteen minutes to ground my energy and practice mindfulness. I gave thanks to God for allowing me to live another day. I also thanked the supreme being upstairs for giving me the energy to handle whatever would get thrown at me later on. Now I'm focused. Now I can go about my day as if I started it on purpose. Those fifteen minutes to collect my thoughts and just enjoy a moment with Shea was really all I needed. I challenge you to practice saying one thing you are grateful for, everyday. It's not about being connected to God, source, or the universe ( that's just my connection ). It's about changing your mindset. We all experience different devils. Instead of focusing on all the negatives, just say "not today. Today, I choose to be happy." Once you speak those words into existence...just be.
