I hope this Thanksgiving season has proven to be fruitful to all. This year, I was afforded an opportunity to spend it with my friends and their family. I'm not big on turkey, so it was perfect. We did it Vietnamese style. I had a blast. I was surrounded by love, acceptance, amazing food and gratitude. One of the things I'm most grateful for, besides the gift of life, is the gift of true friendship. I pray that you all get to feel that love in some way.
As this year comes to a close...there's been so many realizations. Literal eye openers. This year I really gave more effort into changing who I am as a person. It's easy to say you're going to accomplish something, and even easier to put it off. But it's the feeling... the high you get when you do put your mind to something and finish it. I feel like I'm standing on the edge of change. This next year is going to bring forth so many blessings. I'm finally in the energy of receiving it all. Some of them have already started to trickle in. This is an all around post of gratitude. I finally got a passport. Next year will be filled with trips and more places to get lost in. I just want to make a mark on something that I can be proud of.
I'm not big on vocalizing my resolutions. I don't want anything grand. The only thing that I'll ask the universe for is the strength to endure what's ahead.
